The fast fashion industry persists as one of the largest contributors to global warming. Our purpose is to allow consumers to understand the immense benefits of shopping second-hand while remaining fashionable and on-trend.

THE PROBLEM

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

The fast fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world behind the commercial airline sector and the second greatest polluter to fresh water systems. Use of ‘microfibers’ in the fast fashion industry is about the same as 50 billion plastic water bottles.

HARSH WORKING CONDITIONS

80% of clothes are produced by women age 18-24 in developing nations. 168 million children are forced to work 14-16 hours a day, 7 days a week in an environment with no ventilation, breathing in toxic substances, exposed to verbal and physical abuse in unsafe buildings.
